Little slow...but finally my Christmas post!

We had a great Christmas (a whole month ago) and wanted to share a few of our cute pictures. We love acting out the Nativity Story every Christmas Eve, I think it is one of our best traditions. The kids love looking for things to dress up in and you all know how much my kids like to perform! Mark always calls for the Narrator, and no one ever fights him for it.
Kaden wanted to be a wise man and even made his very own crown!
Tyler was a humble shepherd
Madison the beautiful angel
I was lucky enough to be Mary and Jacob was the kind and gentle Joseph.
Thank heavens we still have a baby doll at our house to be the Baby Jesus.

Everyone in their new PJ'S they got to open Christmas Eve.

CHRISTMAS DAY...

We had a great day, the kids were all happy and very grateful!

Mark and Kaden's Birthday

Mark and Kaden share a birthday on December 23rd. Mark says that his birthday is better now that he shares it with Kaden. Kaden seems to think it is pretty cool to share it with his Dad. They like a lot of the same things, but when it comes to food they are pretty different. This makes meals a challenge on their birthday. Mark is so kind and he let Kaden choose Breakfast and Lunch and then Mark chose dinner. We try to make it special for both of them since it is only 2 days before Christmas. Hopefully they both had a good day! We sure love them and I am very glad that they are a part of my life!!!

Kaden's birthday Cake for his birthday party. He wanted a Ben 10 birthday party this year.
Kaden with his friends and about ready to blow out his candles.
Birthday morning, ready to open presents. I think Mark would have slept in a little longer if it was just up to him.
Mark got just what he wanted...Blu Ray Disk Player
Kaden, very excited about his new Bakugan collection.
Kaden was so excited to open his presents. One of the things he asked for was a watermelon of his very own. He was nice and let all of us have some. Watermelon is his very favorite food, along with Mac and Cheese.
Kaden and Jacob all dressed up in Kaden's new cowboy and Indian gear. They had a lot of fun together, and I think they are very cute!

Jacob's Riddles

Jacob had a ton of fun making up riddles in his 3rd grade class. We thought they were pretty great and Tyler thought I should post them on the blog, so enjoy!

1-He is funny and cute
He is my cousin
He is brown like chocolate
Who is he?

answer: Christian

2-He is a dog
His teeth shine in the sun
My cousin loves him
Who is it?

answer: Rusty

3-He is Big and Jolly
He laughs with a HO HO HO
He is busy like a bee
Who is he?

answer: Santa

4-She is sweet as Honey
She is nice like a flower
She is busy like a bee
Who is she?

answer: My mom
(I really like this one)

5-He is wearing my favorite color
He makes toys
He works with Santa
Who is it?

answer: Santa's elf

I am sure I am not quite as good at riddles as Jacob, but I have to give it a try so here it goes.

He is funny and can make everyone laugh
He is a great friend and kind to all
When I see his toothless smile, I smile too
Who is he?

answer: My very special Jacob!
