Brooks Family Reunion (Murdock)

We had a great time at the Brooks Family reunion. We went to Paragonah on Thursday and returned home Saturday night. We stayed in a big cabin and also in tents around the cabin. As you can see from the pictures, we had a great time! Infact, we were just plum exhausted by the end!
Nathan Miller(Monica's) Who knew having fun could be so tiring?
Mark and Kaden needing a nap after being up almost all night! This time it wasn't one of ours crying!!!
Seth Miller, another tired victim!
Tyler and Grandma(Brooks)Murdock working on a Genius Kit!
What will we make with all this stuff?
TaDA! Our final product.... A hula girl under the stars!
Madison and her cousins Lyndi and Rachel. They made a soccer player, ball and goal all out of tin foil!
Karoke Night....What a blast! The boys singing "Jail House Rock"
Melissa, Tyler, Kerri(the superstar) and Monica singing "Sweet Caroline"!
The girls and Jacob singing "Sugar Sugar"
Our stop in Beaver....not planned I might add. We had a very flat, unrepairable tire between Parawan and Beaver on our way home.
The scary thing was that our spare, which was a pain to find and get off, only had 10 lbs of air, it was suppose to have 65. It was a miracle that we made it to Beaver. Thank heavens Mark was there to change the tire and for his prayer that got us safely home.

Swimming lessons

My kids on their last day of swimming lessons! They seemed to really have a good time and they learned a lot too! Nita my mother in law was so great to take these pictures. She took the kids so I could set up for a primary activity.
Jacob doing a back float.

Tyler is quite the swimmer. His favorite stroke is the Butterfly!

Kaden turned out to be a lot braver than I thought he would be!

Madison, ready to dive! She would like me to say, she was the only one to pass the level!

Last week of school fun!

The kids with Principal Brown. She is being moved to the High School next year and they are all sad, except Tyler who will get to see her there in a few years. We will really miss her!
Madison didn't want 3rd grade to end because Mrs. Nelson has been her favorite teacher!

Jacob loved Mrs. Bagley, she was such a great teacher that he wanted to go to summer school!

Tyler, already annoyed at Mom and summer vacation hasn't even begun!

Jacob and his friends! It looks like he enjoys the attention from the girls!

These are pictures of Jacob at the 1st grade Dance Festival!

I am finding with the kids home from school, I don't have a lot of time to read, relax or blog for that matter, so I am a little behind. Who am I fooling with the whole read, relax thing anyway?!

Book 1 Recital

Madison had her book 1 violin recital in March and I am just now posting it. She had to play 26 songs by herself, memorized! She did an amazing job. She has natural ability that she didn't get from me!
