Just what Madison has always wanted....a Sister!

I know you all may just be wondering about this post. I really am not trying to encourage anything here, I just thought it was funny when Kaden came up after my Sunday nap. (I guess I left him unsupervised for to long) He had, what Tyler viewed as just a little too much fun posing for the camera. Don't worry the girl clothes came off quickly, and soon he was wrestling with his brothers, finding sticks on our walk, and making anything he could find into a weapon. I think Kaden was just trying to help Madison not feel so out numbered, at least for a few minutes anyway!

3. How long have you been married? 13 1/2 years
4. What does he do that surprises you? The time I was suprised the most was my 29th birthday, when he planned a suprise party for me at Melina's Mexican Resturant.
5. What is your favorite feature of his? I love his eyes, especially his long eye lashes! (our children all have them too!)
6. What is your favorite quality of his? I love how he helps me not be so serious. He can really be fun and make us all laugh. He also is very thoughtful when it comes to gift giving, he is so kind to me!!!
7. Does he have a nickname for you? I like it when he says, "Hey Babe!"
8. What is his favorite color? ORANGE!!!
9. What is his favorite food? I would say anything BEEF. He loves FOOD!
10. What is his favorite sport? Soccer, Soccer, and did I say SOCCER!
11. When and where was your first kiss? In my apartment, after a nice romantic walk.
12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? Lately we have really enjoyed bike riding.
13. Do you have any children? 5- Tyler, Christopher, Madison, Jacob and Kaden
14. Does he have a hidden talent? pruning trees and the raspberries. They always end up looking and turning out way better than I think they are going to.

18. What do you admire most about him? He has so many great talents and abilities, he seems to be good at everything he tries. He is an amazing father and he is so patient with me and my tendency to over analyze everything. I love that he loves MUSIC so much. I also think it is great that he loves to learn new things!

What did we Discover?

During the summer I always have some fun theme and job chart for the kids. (Whatever it takes right!) This summer my idea came from the game "Settlers of Catan." Tyler and Madison really like this game, so I figured they would like doing jobs, or at least maybe they wouldn't be so bad. Anyway, they had to get "sheep", "brick", "coal", "wood", and "grain" in order to build a road. (Each resource was one job) By the end of the summer if they built enough roads, we would have a day of fun! Well, as you can see they did it!!! YEAH! We had a great day at Discovery Gateway in Salt Lake. We played there all day, and I think they could have stayed longer!!! It really was a fun day, and hopefully worth all their hard work. What great kids I have!!!

At the Gateway, we discovered....

Jacob and Kaden could be construction workers,

Madison and Kaden are naturals at riding a horse,

Jacob and Kaden can be best of friends,

Christian thinks the song by the Beetles, "Baby can you drive my car" is talking about him,



Kaden looks adorable in red boots,

Jacob gets lost everywhere we go, and this was no exception, (this is where we found him)


Madison is a really great climber,

And so is Tyler,

Heather, Madison and Christian could be t.v. anchors, at least on channel 5,

Jacob loves water,

And last of all the kids discovered that their Mom really can be okay sometimes, and take them to do fun things.
